My Story

Chris Heskett

My name is Chris, as I’m sure you already know, and I want to take this time to tell you a little bit about who I am and the story of the company.

Growing up, I was a skinny, awkward, insecure, introvert who hid in the back of the classroom. I got into fitness and nutrition around the age of 15 to build muscles so I could get girls (the goal of most teenage boys).

Well… I didn’t get any girls from lifting, but as I became stronger physically, I started to become stronger mentally. That confidence I slowly started to build started to cause others to reach out to me to help them.

What I discovered about myself is that I love helping others reach their full potential!

I went to Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Exercise Science. I did a strength and conditioning internship with Bucknell University and became a certified strength coach under the NSCA. Other certifications I have include Precision Nutrition’s Level 1 Coach, HKC Kettlebell Certification, and Back Pain Relief4Life Certified. During and after college, I worked as a personal trainer until 2021 when I left to start Protect & Provide Coaching now known as Peak Wellness Coaching.

The reason I left in-person coaching was that I could only reach and help so many people. While I was fortunate during the pandemic, I wanted to make sure I made a company that could protect my family from financial hardship so that I could keep being a provider.

My wife and I also started trying for our first child and the early mornings and late nights of in-person coaching just are not conducive to having a family and being there for your kids.

So, I decided to start my own company and work with people who have similar values as myself!
